The 2026 National MSME Awards portal will go live April 7, giving Nigerian entrepreneurs a chance to access financial support and recognition for their innovative businesses.
The Federal Government has announced that applications for the 2026 National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Awards will open on April 7, with over N1 billion set to be disbursed as grants to outstanding businesses across the country.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support and strengthen small businesses, which are widely regarded as the backbone of Nigeriaโs economy. The awards aim to recognize innovation, resilience, and impact among MSMEs, while also providing financial support to help scale their operations.
Eligible entrepreneurs and business owners are encouraged to apply through the official portal once it goes live. The selection process is expected to be competitive, with winners emerging from various sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, technology, and services.
Officials say the programme will not only reward excellence but also stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and promote sustainable enterprise development nationwide. Applicants are advised to ensure they meet all requirements and submit accurate information to enhance their chances of selection.
