Security agencies launch rescue efforts as family and the Toto LGA of Nasarawa state, supporters call for prayers
Hon. Adams Nyisana, a former member of the Nasarawa state assembly and the 2023 Deputy Governorship candidate of the (NNPP) in the state has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The incident occurred at his residence in Yelwa, Toto Local Government Area, between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
According to sources, the gunmen stormed the residence at night and whisked the former lawmaker away to an undisclosed location, causing panic within the community.
Local security agencies have since swung into action, launching efforts to rescue him and apprehend those responsible for the abduction.
Family members, political associates, and supporters have called for prayers and calm, expressing hope for his safe and swift return. As of the time of this report, no group has claimed responsibility, and security authorities are yet to release an official statement.
