The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for the supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which was conducted on June 21 and 22, 2024. Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the board’s spokesperson, made this announcement in a statement in Abuja.
This supplementary examination accommodated 28,835 candidates who could not undergo biometric verification during the main 2024 UTME. Additionally, it included candidates suspected of examination misconduct during the initial UTME.
JAMB emphasized the success of this supplementary exercise, which was bolstered by stringent security measures to prevent any examination malpractice. Instances of impersonation were effectively managed, with culprits being handed over to law enforcement agencies.
The board reiterated its commitment to maintaining examination integrity through advanced technological measures. It warned candidates against engaging in any irregularities and discouraged attempts to solicit score upgrades or alter result sheets fraudulently.
Candidates can check their supplementary UTME results by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to their profile code at the time of registration
