Top National Leaders, Traditional Rulers Endorse New CONAECDA Leadership
CONAECDA: Pastor Danladi Jeji, leader of the FCT Original Inhabitants Development Association, has been elected as the National President of the Conference of Autochthonous Ethnic Nationalities Development Associations (CONAECDA). His election was announced today during the 2025 gathering of autochthonous ethnic nationalities communities held in Jos, Plateau State.
The development marks a major step forward for indigenous advocacy groups across the country, reinforcing CONAECDA’s mission to champion the rights, identity, and development of minority ethnic nationalities.
The well-attended event drew high-profile dignitaries and national stakeholders. The Governor of Plateau State commended the CONAECDA leadership for its unwavering dedication to amplifying the voices of indigenous communities, describing their work as “a beacon of unity and cultural preservation.”

- RT Hon. Yakubu Dogara, former Speaker of the House of Representatives
- Former Governors of Plateau State
- Lt. Gen. Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (Rtd.), elder statesman
