Bwari APC2 Team Reacts To Court Ruling, Vows To Continue Legal Battle To Reclaim Mandate

The JIMNAS Movement has reaffirmed its commitment to continue the legal fight to reclaim what it calls “the people’s mandate” for Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa, following the conclusion of the first phase of its legal pursuit at the Federal High Court.

In an official statement released on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, and signed by Abubakar Ali (aka Tinubu Pikin), Deputy Head of Media, JIMNASMEDIA2026, the group declared that although the court ruled the case “statute-barred,” the mandate freely given to Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa by the people of Bwari Area Council on June 25, 2025, remains valid and unshaken.

According to the statement, the judgment did not nullify Musa’s candidacy nor cancel his victory, but only struck out the case based on technical grounds related to timing.

“The learned judge merely held that the matter was filed outside the stipulated timeframe and therefore statute-barred,” the statement clarified.

The JIMNAS Movement emphasized that the struggle is far from over, revealing that it has already “activated a 24-hour legal review mechanism” to explore all constitutional means to reclaim the JIMNAS mandate.

“We will neither be intimidated nor deterred. Our commitment to justice, fairness, and the will of the people remains unshaken,” the group stated.

The press release also called on supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bwari Area Council to remain calm, united, and focused as the legal process continues.

“The battle is not over, it is only extended, and as always, victory belongs to those who endure till the end,” the movement added.

The group assured party faithful that their trust and loyalty would not be taken for granted, promising to deliver victory and build a better Bwari Area Council where fairness and equal opportunity thrive.
