Hon. (Dr.) Solomon Danjuma Garda Ushafa, popularly known as MC Dariya, has officially declared his intention to contest for the Chairmanship of Bwari Area Council under the Labour Party. He made this known today at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, where he picked up his nomination form.

A well-known youth leader and media personality, MC Dariya is widely celebrated for his contributions to community development across Bwari Area Council and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Through his radio programs, grassroots outreaches, youth empowerment projects, and political engagement, he has built a reputation as a committed advocate for positive change.
MC Dariya, a former youth leader of the Ushafa community, expressed confidence in his vision for a more developed and inclusive Bwari. Speaking after collecting his form, he called on both indigenes and residents of the council to rally behind what he described as a “youthful and transformative movement” aimed at repositioning Bwari for sustainable growth.

“I am offering myself to serve because I believe in the potential of our people and the promise of a better Bwari,” he said. “Together, we can build a council that works for everyone.”

Supporters at the event expressed optimism about his candidacy, describing him as a grassroots leader with a deep understanding of the needs of the people. Many believe that, with God’s grace, MC Dariya is well positioned to emerge as the next Executive Chairman of the Bwari Area Council.
