The Etsu of Kwali and Chairman, Council of Chiefs, Kwali Area Council, HRH Luka Ayedoo Nizassan III, has been honoured with a Distinguished Leadership Award during the 2025 World Science Day Celebration.
The prestigious award was presented by the Honourable Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr. Kinsley Tochukwu Udeh (SAN), in recognition of the royal father’s remarkable contributions to community development, technological education, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
The event highlighted the role of science and innovation in driving national development, with HRH Nizassan being celebrated for his continuous efforts to promote education and inspire unity within and beyond the Kwali Chiefdom.
In his remarks, the traditional ruler expressed appreciation for the recognition, pledging to further support initiatives that encourage innovation, education, and cultural preservation among young people.
