
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has officially flagged off the construction of Transit Way N2, a key infrastructure project designed to improve urban mobility in Abuja.
The project, which will connect the Central Area to Wuse District, also features the construction of two major bridges. According to the FCT Administration, the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to modernize the capital cityโs road network, decongest traffic, and enhance economic activities within the metropolitan area.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, Wike emphasized the importance of road infrastructure to national development, stressing that the Transit Way N2 will not only ease transportation challenges but also provide long-term benefits for businesses and residents of the FCT.
The minister further assured that the FCTA will ensure timely completion of the project while maintaining international standards of quality and safety.
