Former Area Council Services boss cites renewed commitment to service, thanks Tinubu, Wike, and FCT residents in Facebook announcement

The former Mandate Secretary made this known in a public statement shared on his Facebook page, noting that his decision followed careful reflection and aligns with his desire to continue serving the people of the Federal Capital Territory with greater dedication and purpose.

Garki expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, for the opportunity to serve, describing his tenure as both an honour and a privilege. He also extended gratitude to his colleagues, stakeholders, and residents of the FCT for their consistent support, cooperation, and trust throughout his time in office.

Highlighting key achievements during his tenure, Garki stated that his administration made notable progress in strengthening traditional institutions, promoting grassroots governance, and improving service delivery across the Area Councils. According to him, these efforts contributed to the broader realization of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He further assured that as he moves into the next phase of his journey, he remains committed to contributing to the unity, growth, and development of the Federal Capital Territory.
