The Chairman of the Governing Board of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Nasiru Gawuna, has officially resigned from his position.
Abuja affairs reports that Gawuna has finalized a defection arrangement with former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso. Sources say he is expected to formally join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Tuesday, signaling a significant political realignment ahead of upcoming elections.
The resignation marks the end of Gawuna’s tenure at FMBN, where he oversaw key mortgage policies and initiatives, and underscores his growing political ambitions in collaboration with the former governor.
