Despite the recent exclusion of the Labour Party (LP) from the February 21st, 2026 FCT Area Council elections due to internal leadership crises, the political journey of Hon. Solomon Danjuma Garda (Hon. Dariya) and his running mate Nnamdi has taken a stronger and more defined direction.
Originally the LP candidates for the Bwari Area Council Chairmanship race, Hon. Dariya and Nnamdi have now fully transitioned to the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) through the INEC substitution and replacement window — a move that has energized their supporters and attracted even more goodwill across Bwari.
As it stands, the Labour Party has no valid candidate in the forthcoming FCT Area Council elections. However, the ZLP ticket now led by Hon. Dariya/Nnamdi has become the credible alternative — one where Nigerians, Bwari residents, and the Obidient family can confidently rally behind.
The LP primary election that produced Hon. Solomon Danjuma Garda was officially annulled and not recognized by INEC. But through resilience and lawful transition, his ambition remains alive and stronger than ever — this time under a platform that many now describe as “the third force” in Nigeria’s evolving political landscape.
Indeed, as momentum builds, it is becoming clear that the ZLP under Hon. Dariya’s leadership is not just participating — it is positioning itself as the people’s voice and the most credible path forward for Bwari’s development and youth inclusion.
