Lagos APC postpones inauguration of state executives following sudden death of Assistant Publicity Secretary-elect Yesiro Karamo.

The (APC) in State has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of its newly elected Assistant Publicity Secretary, Yesiro Karamo, just hours before his planned inauguration.

Karamo reportedly died shortly after emerging victorious at the Lagos APC State Congress, where he was elected into the state executive committee of the party.

The inauguration ceremony for the newly elected state executives had been scheduled to take place shortly after the congress, but the tragic development forced the party leadership to postpone the event.

Party officials described the incident as shocking and painful, noting that Karamo was a committed party member who had shown dedication to the growth and stability of the APC in Lagos State.

According to party sources, the postponement of the swearing-in ceremony was necessary to allow members and leaders of the party mourn the late official and pay their respects to his family.

Karamo’s sudden death has sparked reactions among party members and political observers, many of whom expressed sadness over the loss, especially as it occurred only hours after he was elected into office.

Leaders of the party have also extended condolences to the family of the deceased while praying for strength and comfort for them during the difficult time.
