In a move to strengthen bilateral relations, a delegation of Nigerian representatives is currently in China for a series of seminars and technology exploration sessions, focusing on Chinese innovation and traditional medicine.
Speaking on behalf of the team, Mrs. Aiyeniko Funmilayo Yinka emphasized Nigeria’s rich endowment of natural resources, describing the nation as a land of opportunities capable of driving massive development if properly harnessed and channeled.
Mrs. Aiyeniko called on the Chinese government and investors to deepen collaboration with Nigeria, highlighting that China’s advanced technology and expertise in traditional medicine, when integrated with Nigeria’s natural resources, could birth greater socio-economic transformation.

She also applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent visit to China, describing it as a strategic step toward expanding bilateral cooperation. According to her, the visit led to the establishment of the Nigeria–China Strategic Partnership Initiative, designed to strengthen shared goals and mutual commitment between both nations.
As the delegation continues its engagements in China, expectations remain high for new partnerships, investment opportunities, and knowledge transfer that will further drive Nigeria’s quest for sustainable development.
