Pastor Danladi Jeji, President of the Original Inhabitants Development Association (OIDA), has called for competent individuals to aspire for offices in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He made this appeal through a WhatsApp post on the platform named “FCT 2027 Consultation.”
In his message, Pastor Jeji emphasized the need for the FCT natives and residents of the AMAC/Bwari 2027 Consultative Platform to recruit leaders who are competent, loving, people-centered, and conscious. He specified that these leaders should be between the ages of 18 to 50 years, including men, women, and people living with disabilities (PLWD).
Key points from his message include:
- The call for the position of “Senator of FCT” to be exclusively for people from FCT South (Gwagwalada, Kuje, Kwali, and Abaji Local Government Areas). He urged these areas to come together to present a competent senator for 2027.
- For the AMAC/Bwari Constituency, the House of Representatives seat should be filled by a native of Bwari Local Government in 2027.
- Recruitment of the six Chairmen and 62 Councilors in the FCT, emphasizing the need for competent and caring individuals for democratic representation in the political space for the years 2025 and 2027.
Pastor Jeji’s message spells out the importance of truth, justice, and equity in the FCT political space, encouraging community members to participate actively in the recruitment and support of qualified candidates for these positions.
