There have been several developments in Victor Osimhen’s potential transfers, but none have reached completion due to last-minute issues, primarily related to Napoli’s demands.
PSG: The deal between PSG and Napoli for Osimhen was reportedly close to completion, with about 90% of the details agreed upon. However, Napoli allegedly demanded more money overnight, which led PSG to pull out of the deal.
Al Ahli: Similarly, a deal with Al Ahli from Saudi Arabia was nearly finalized, also at about 90% completion, when Osimhen eas just waiting for Napoli go ahead for medicals. But, once again, Napoli’s increased financial demands overnight caused the Saudi club to withdraw from the negotiations.
Chelsea: Chelsea was also interested in Osimhen, but their offer was considered too low by Napoli and by Osimhen. As it was very below his current pay, no agreement was reached.
As a result of these failed negotiations, Osimhen remains with Napoli. Additionally, his jersey number at Napoli has reportedly been reassigned, indicating that his situation at the club might be in flux. This could mean that despite these developments, Osimhen’s future at Napoli remains uncertain as he can not play for Napoli until January next year, and it is possible that further negotiations could take place before the transfer window closes from Al Ahli most especially whose window is still open.
