50,000 Police Slots Up for Grabs as PSC Launches Recruitment Portal
The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), announces that the recruitment portal for the enlistment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force is now officially OPEN.
This recruitment follows the directive of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, aimed at boosting national security, strengthening community policing, and expanding the manpower capacity of the Nigeria Police Force. The Commission hereby calls on qualified and patriotic Nigerians to take advantage of this opportunity to serve their nation.
Who Can Apply?
General Duty Applicants:
✓ Minimum of five (5) credits in GCE O’Level/SSCE/NECO (including English & Mathematics) in not more than two sittings.
Specialist Applicants:
✓ Minimum of four (4) credits (including English & Mathematics) in not more than two sittings
✓ At least three (3) years of relevant experience and applicable Trade Test certifications.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
✓ Be Nigerian citizens by birth
✓ Be 18–25 years (General Duty) or 18–28 years (Specialists)
✓ Be medically, physically and psychologically fit
✓ Meet the height requirements (1.67m for males, 1.64m for females — General Duty only)
✓ Satisfy additional conditions listed on the portal
