APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda makes the projection at the launch of Arewa for Asiwaju, a group mobilising support for President Bola Tinubu and the APC.
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has projected that northern Nigeria will deliver more than 70 per cent of its votes to President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Yilwatda made the statement on Saturday in Abuja during the launch of Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A), a political pressure group mobilising support for Tinubu and the ruling APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
The projection reflects the party leadership’s expectations for the North as political activities gradually intensify ahead of the next general elections.
However, the actual voting outcome will depend on voters’ choices and political developments as the 2027 elections approach.
