FCT natives have expressed deep appreciation to the Federal Capital Territory Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Commissioner, Hon. Musa Dikko, for his swift and decisive intervention that halted the controversial demolition in Kuchibeyedna, a longstanding indigenous settlement in Gwarinpa.
The Commissioner stepped in after receiving an urgent complaint from affected residents, many of whom had already seen parts of their homes pulled down before help arrived. His timely action prevented further destruction and restored calm in a tense and emotionally charged environment.
Residents Praise Dikko’s Courage and Responsiveness
Indigenes of Kuchibeyedna described Hon. Dikko as a true defender of justice, commending him for:

Challenging Development Control officials to present legal authorization
Ordering a suspension of the demolition until proper documentation is produced

According to eyewitnesses, bulldozers had already destroyed several structures when Hon. Dikko arrived. Security operatives—including Military, NSCDC, and Police personnel—were positioned around the area, creating a volatile atmosphere.
By insisting on the rule of law and engaging the Director of Development Control directly, Hon. Musa Dikko successfully ordered an immediate halt to the operation, preventing a possible confrontation.
