FCT University of Science and Technology in Abaji to Begin Operations Under Tinubu – Wike Assures

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike assures residents that the new FCT University in Abaji will commence academic activities under the Tinubu administration.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory has assured residents that the FCT University of Science and Technology located in will begin operations under the administration of President Tinubu.

Wike gave the assurance during a visit to Abaji, where he stated that the Federal Capital Territory Administration is working towards ensuring that the institution commences academic activities before the end of President Tinubu’s tenure.

According to the minister, the establishment of the FCT University is part of ongoing efforts by the FCT Administration to expand access to higher education and promote development across the territory. He noted that once operational, the institution will provide opportunities for students within the FCT and surrounding states to pursue studies in science and technology.

Wike also highlighted that the project will contribute to economic growth in Abaji by creating employment opportunities and attracting investments to the area. He urged residents to continue supporting government initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and education in the Federal Capital Territory.

The proposed university is expected to play a significant role in strengthening the educational landscape of the FCT and advancing research and innovation in science and technology.
