
In the wake of the recent reshuffle in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Administration, Hon. Abdullahi Suleiman Ango has officially assumed office as the Mandate Secretary of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat (ARDS).

In the wake of the recent reshuffle in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Administration, Hon. Abdullahi Suleiman Ango has officially assumed office as the Mandate Secretary of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat (ARDS).
While acknowledging that Agriculture remains the backbone of our economy, Ango stated “With the increasing population in the FCT, it is imperative that we embrace innovative practices to enhance food security, create jobs, and empower the youth.”
Ango underscored his zero-tolerance policy for complacency, urging his team to prioritize professionalism and teamwork.

He outlined plans to gold immediate strategic briefings with departmental heads and undertake on-site inspections of key projects to assess their progress and impact.
Welcoming the Mandate Secretary, Engr. Gbemi Josiah Omole, Director of Cooperative and Rural Development, who spoke on behalf of the ARDS management team, assured the Mandate Secretary of the teams full support in achieving his vision for sustainable growth in the agricultural sector.
