The National Human Rights Commission auditorium today witnessed a profound and thought-provoking event, the Stakeholders Dialogue on the Rights of Indigents, organized by Miss Face of Humanity Nigeria (MFOH).

The dialogue, centered on the theme “Empowering Indigents: Building Sustainable Solutions,” was a platform for stakeholders to deliberate on actionable strategies to uplift marginalized communities and create lasting change.

The event commenced with a heartfelt opening address by the General Director of MFOH, Blessing Inyang, who warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and participants. She emphasized the critical timing of this dialogue, underscoring the pressing need to unite efforts in championing the rights and welfare of indigents across various spheres.

In attendance were eminent representatives from notable organizations such as the United Nations, ECOWAS, National Human Rights Commission, FCT Department of Higher Education, NAPTIP, and several other key stakeholders.

Each participant brought unique insights and contributions to the table, enhancing the depth of the discussions.

The Director of Higher Education Mr. Siyanbola O.O, in his remarks, reinforced the MFOH Director’s call for sustained engagement and proactive measures. He passionately highlighted the indispensable role of continuous advocacy and dialogue in fostering opportunities for indigent populations.

His speech resonated with the audience, reminding them that empowering the underserved is not just an obligation but a moral imperative that demands collective action.
