Initiative aims to empower women and youths in Bwari Area Council with tailoring and entrepreneurship skills for self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.

The First Lady of Bwari Area Council, Mrs. Susan Joshua Musa, has partnered with ABTreated Fashion House to launch the Area Council Tailoring, Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme (BAC-TSAED) 2026, a major initiative designed to equip women and youths with practical vocational and entrepreneurial skills.

The programme is expected to create opportunities for economic empowerment by providing participants with hands-on tailoring training, business development knowledge, and the skills needed to establish sustainable sources of income.

As part of activities marking the partnership, Mrs. Susan Joshua Musa on Monday, August 3, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to ABTreated Fashion House, where she and her delegation were warmly received by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Moses Damolekun.

During the meeting, both parties discussed strategies for the successful implementation of BAC-TSAED 2026, emphasizing their shared commitment to empowering residents of Bwari Area Council through quality vocational education and entrepreneurship development.

Speaking on the initiative, the Executive Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Hon. Joshua Ishaku Musa, reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to improving the lives of residents through sustainable empowerment programmes.

“This is a commitment of my administration to ensuring that our people in Bwari Area Council are empowered,” the Chairman stated.

The BAC-TSAED 2026 programme is expected to provide participants with practical skills that will enhance financial independence, reduce unemployment, and promote entrepreneurship across communities in Bwari Area Council.
