The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) on Sunday unveiled the top three nominees in each of the men’s categories for the highly anticipated CAF Awards 2025.

The prestigious ceremony is scheduled to hold in Rabat, Morocco, on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, beginning at 19:00 local time (18:00 GMT). This year’s edition will celebrate the outstanding performances and achievements that shaped African football over the past year.

Men’s Player of the Year Nominees

Leading the race for Africa’s highest individual football honour are three of the continent’s biggest stars:

  • Mohamed Salah (Egypt / Liverpool)
  • Achraf Hakimi (Morocco / Paris Saint-Germain)
  • Victor Osimhen (Nigeria / Galatasaray)

All three players have enjoyed exceptional seasons for both club and country, making the contest for the crown one of the most competitive in recent years.
