DSPTA Returns to Historic ECWA Ground as Campaign Materials Are Dedicated, Invoking Faith, Legacy and Divine Guidance Ahead of 2027
Distinguished Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda MFR, CON, has officially commenced his 2027 campaign journey with a solemn visit to ECWA Church, Karu, where he sought the face of God and committed the campaign to divine guidance, wisdom and grace.
The prayer and dedication ceremony marked what supporters described as the beginning of a new political journey, with Senator Aduda emphasizing the importance of placing God at the centre of the campaign and the responsibilities that lie ahead.
The choice of ECWA Church, Karu, holds a deep historical and spiritual significance for the Aduda family. It was at the same location that Senator Aduda’s grandfather, Reverend Idakula Yepwi, began the work of establishing the ECWA Church in Karu.
Returning to the historic ground at the commencement of the 2027 campaign therefore provided a symbolic connection between the family’s religious heritage and its longstanding commitment to service and leadership.
The dedication of the campaign materials further underscored Senator Aduda’s faith in God and his conviction that the journey ahead should be guided by divine direction, wisdom and grace.
The ceremony was witnessed by elected chairmen of some Area Councils in the Federal Capital Territory, alongside party leaders, supporters, well-wishers and other stakeholders who gathered to identify with the commencement of the campaign.
The gathering also served as a moment of reflection on the values of faith, service, community and leadership that have remained central to the Aduda political tradition.
With the campaign now formally underway, Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda and his supporters have committed the journey to God, trusting in divine guidance as they move toward the 2027 political season.
