Former ADC member says decision followed extensive consultations as he pledges commitment to better representation for FCT residents.
Hon. Dalhatu Ezekiel Musa Mnim, FCA, has officially resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and announced his membership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
In a statement made available to the public, the politician said his decision came after extensive consultations and careful consideration aimed at advancing the collective interest of residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).




According to him, the journey towards collective freedom and better governance may come with challenges, but with the support of the people, those hurdles can be overcome.
“Today, we took another thoughtful step towards aligning with the hopes of the people. After much consultation, I hereby announce my membership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC),” he stated.
Hon. Dalhatu noted that the move is part of a broader vision to achieve effective and efficient representation for the FCT at the National Assembly level.




He further called on residents of the FCT to support the process and unite towards building a brighter future for the territory.
Hon Ezekiel Musa Dalhatu, holds the traditional titles of Gbari Lamwa, Sarkin Yakin Kudun Jiwa, and Santurakin Rubochi, ended the statement with the hashtag #FCTFIRST.
