Kuje Residents Praise Wike, Aduda as Shekwolo Emerges Chairman-Elect

Massive crowd in Kuje praises Aduda, supports FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and celebrates emergence of Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo as chairman-elect after peaceful Area Council elections.

Residents and stakeholders in Kuje Area Council have described Senator as the “architect of modern politics” in the Federal Capital Territory, following a massive appreciation gathering held in the council.

The atmosphere at the event was filled with gratitude as large numbers of indigenous people, residents, grassroots mobilizers, party faithful, and supporters gathered to celebrate and sing praises of Senator Aduda and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, .

Participants at the gathering commended the peaceful and transparent conduct of the recently concluded FCT Area Council elections across the ten wards of Kuje Area Council. They noted that the electoral process reflected fairness and credibility, leading to the emergence of as chairman-elect.

The people of Kuje also expressed confidence in Shekwolo’s leadership capacity and experience, stating that his victory represents a new phase of development and inclusive governance for the council.

Speakers at the event further praised the developmental initiatives being championed in the FCT, particularly the ongoing improvements to the Kuje road network under the leadership of Minister Wike. According to them, the infrastructure drive is already transforming the area and opening up new economic opportunities for residents.

Community leaders and political stakeholders also highlighted Senator Aduda’s long-standing support for the people of Kuje and the FCT at large, noting that his contributions to grassroots politics and governance remain significant.

Many attendees reiterated their commitment to supporting the administration of President ahead of the 2027 general elections, while also expressing strong backing for Aduda’s potential return to the Senate.

According to them, the people of Kuje believe Aduda’s return to the National Assembly is crucial for sustaining political stability, effective representation, and the continued delivery of democratic dividends across the FCT.
