United state Secret Service announces large-scale hiring drive with up to $75,000 recruitment bonus for Uniformed Division officers
The United States Secret Service has announced a massive recruitment exercise aimed at strengthening its workforce, offering up to $75,000 in hiring incentives for successful applicants who join its Uniformed Division.
According to the agency, the recruitment drive is part of efforts to attract qualified candidates to help protect critical government facilities and support the security of top U.S. government officials.
The incentive package, which could reach $75,000, will be paid in installments over several years to officers who successfully complete their training and remain in service with the agency.
Successful applicants will be deployed as officers in the Secret Service Uniformed Division, a specialized security force responsible for protecting key locations in Washington, D.C., including the White House, the residence of the Vice President, and the U.S. Treasury Building.
The Secret Service noted that candidates interested in the opportunity must meet specific requirements, including being United States citizens, aged between 20 and 40 years, possessing a valid driver’s license, and being able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, medical examination, and security clearance process.
In addition to securing major government facilities, Uniformed Division officers may also assist in protective operations for the U.S. President, Vice President, visiting heads of state, and other high-profile officials.
The agency emphasized that the recruitment bonus is structured as a long-term incentive and will only be fully paid after recruits complete their training and meet the required years of service.
The recruitment drive comes amid efforts by several U.S. federal law enforcement agencies to expand their workforce and enhance national security operations.
