The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory Command, CP Miler Gajere Dantawaye, has paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Dr. Ibrahim Yaro JP, the 17th Esu (Sa Bwaya) of Bwari Kingdom and the Chairman Traditional Council of Bwari Area Council.
The visit, which took place at the Esu Palace in Bwari Area Council, was part of the Commissioner’s ongoing engagements with traditional rulers aimed at strengthening community policing, peace, and security collaboration within the FCT.
CP Dantawaye, during his remarks, emphasized the importance of synergy between the police and traditional institutions, describing royal fathers as key stakeholders in intelligence gathering and conflict resolution.





In his response, HRH Dr. Ibrahim Yaro JP commended the Commissioner for his proactive leadership and renewed commitment to ensuring the safety of residents across Bwari and the FCT at large. He assured the Police Command of continuous support from the traditional council to maintain peace and order in the area.
The visit underscores the growing partnership between security agencies and traditional authorities in the FCT, a move widely seen as vital to fostering lasting peace and effective grassroots security management.
