Group Mobilises Youths, Women, Elders Ahead of Abaji Area Council Polls
As preparations intensify ahead of the forthcoming Area Council elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), FCT Chapter, have commenced grassroots engagement in Abaji Area Council.
The engagement brought together youths, women, elders, and various support groups, as the RHA team held strategic consultations aimed at strengthening unity and mobilising grassroots support across communities in the area council.




Leading the delegation, the FCT Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido, urged residents of Abaji to remain focused and united, stressing the importance of continuity in leadership. He called for the return of Hon. Abubakar AUA as Chairman of Abaji Area Council, describing him as a committed, accessible, and development-driven leader with a strong record of service.
Also speaking, former Council Chairman and Council Secretary, Hon. Arada, alongside Hon. Kamal, highlighted key achievements recorded under the current administration. They also commended the people-oriented policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Honourable Minister of the FCT, and Hon. Abubakar AUA, pledging to work tirelessly to ensure his re-election.





In their responses, women, elders, youths, and representatives of support groups unanimously assured the Renewed Hope Ambassadors of their total support and votes. They reaffirmed their confidence in the leadership, vision, and developmental agenda of Hon. Abubakar AUA, promising to mobilise support across Abaji Area Council.
The engagement featured open and heart-to-heart discussions, fostering mutual understanding and strong assurances from stakeholders, and reflecting a shared commitment to progress, continuity, and renewed hope for Abaji Area Council.
