The ward leadership of the (ADC) has announced the suspension of the Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory, , from the party at the ward level.

The decision was reportedly taken during a ward meeting held on Monday, where party members deliberated on issues relating to the senator’s conduct within the party.

According to party officials at the ward level, the suspension followed allegations of actions considered to be inconsistent with the party’s principles and internal regulations. The ward executives stated that the decision was reached after consultations among members present at the meeting.

However, the suspension is currently limited to the ward structure of the party, which represents the grassroots level of political party administration. The development may still be subject to review or confirmation by higher organs of the party, including the state or national leadership of the ADC.

As of the time of filing this report, Senator Kingibe, who currently represents the Federal Capital Territory in the , has not publicly responded to the announcement of the suspension.

Party observers note that internal party disciplinary actions at the ward level sometimes undergo further deliberations at higher levels before they become final. The situation is therefore expected to attract reactions from the party’s state and national leadership in the coming days.
