Unverified statement attributed to Dr. Kemi Talks sparks online reactions as no official sources confirm the claim
A Facebook post attributed to a user known as “Dr. Kemi Talks” has gone viral after making sweeping claims about Nigeria allegedly experiencing a “complete revolution” by early 2027.
In the post, the author suggested that there would be no general elections in 2027, and went further to claim that security agencies such as the military and police would abandon their duties to join nationwide protests. The message also speculated about the collapse of major state institutions, including Aso Rock, the National Assembly, and even the Nigerian Constitution.
The post further alleged that a transitional government would emerge from the situation and that insecurity challenges such as banditry and terrorism would come to an abrupt end. It ended with a strong call for users to save and share the message, which contributed to its rapid spread across social media platforms.
However, there is currently no official statement, evidence, or confirmation from the Federal Government, INEC, or any recognised security agency supporting these claims. The content remains unverified and should be treated as social media speculation.
