Kwali Area Council Chairman Hon. Nuhu Daniel Kwali assure Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda of the council’s support ahead of the forthcoming election
Distinguished Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda MFR, CON, has visited Kwali Area Council as part of efforts to reconnect with APC leaders, stakeholders, traditional authorities and residents ahead of the forthcoming election.
The visit provided an opportunity for Senator Aduda to engage with the people of Kwali and reaffirm his longstanding relationship with the area, which he described as his home.
During the visit, Senator Aduda paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the Etsu Kwali, where traditional leaders and stakeholders highlighted some of the needs of the traditional institution.
Addressing the gathering, Senator Aduda acknowledged key APC leaders and stakeholders in attendance, Aduda reiterated his deep connection with Kwali, stressing that his relationship with the people of the area dates back several decades.
The Etsu Kwali also recalled the longstanding relationship between the traditional institution, the people of Kwali and Senator Aduda. He noted that the people of Kwali understand their political responsibilities and have a history of reciprocating support extended to them.
Speaking during the town hall gathering, the Kwali Area Council APC Chairman expressed appreciation to Senator Aduda for the visit and welcomed the opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the Senator and the APC structure in the area.
The APC Chairman also expressed optimism about the party’s prospects in the forthcoming election and assured Senator Aduda of the support and commitment of the APC structure in Kwali Area Council.
The APC candidate for Abuja South House of Representatives, Hon. Danladi Chiya, also spoke on the importance of the visit, highlighting Senator Aduda’s political influence and longstanding relationship with the people of the FCT.
Hon. Danladi Chiya called for the support of the people of Kwali and other stakeholders as the party prepares for the forthcoming election.
The Executive Chairman of Kwali Area Council, Hon. Nuhu Daniel Kwali, equally gave a strong assurance of support for Senator Aduda and Hon. Danladi Chiya.
Hon. Nuhu Daniel Kwali pledged that the people of Kwali Area Council would stand firmly with the candidates and work towards delivering the area for the APC at the forthcoming election.
The Chairman’s assurance further reinforced the position of the Kwali political leadership and demonstrated the council’s commitment to supporting the party’s candidates.
Distinguished Senator Isah Maina, in his remarks, described the people of Kwali as people who keep their promises and urged them to support Senator Aduda, Hon. Danladi Chiya and President Tinubu.
In his remarks, Senator Aduda thanked the people of Kwali for the warm reception and reiterated his commitment to the development of the FCT.
He highlighted some of the projects and interventions carried out across the territory and urged the people to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, himself and Hon. Danladi Chiya, the APC candidate for Abuja South House of Representatives.
Aduda described the campaign as an opportunity to showcase what political leaders have done for their people, expressing confidence in the party’s chances of victory.
With the assurances from the Executive Chairman of Kwali Area Council, Hon. Nuhu Daniel Kwali, and the Kwali Area Council APC Chairman, coupled with the support expressed by Hon. Danladi Chiya and other stakeholders, the visit further strengthened the APC’s political mobilisation in Kwali Area Council ahead of the forthcoming election.
