Hon. Bitrus Lawrence Garki, popularly referred to by supporters as the “FCT 1st Son,” has officially picked up the All Progressives Congress (APC) Nomination and Expression of Interest Form to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Bwari/AMAC Federal Constituency.
The development marks a major step in the build-up to the 2027 general elections, as political activities continue to gather momentum within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Hon. Bitrus, regarded by many supporters as one of the leading aspirants in the race, formally obtained the APC forms today, signaling his preparedness and determination to contest for the coveted legislative seat.


Speaking through supporters and political allies, the aspirant’s camp described the move as more than a routine political process, noting that it reflects capacity, commitment, and readiness to provide effective representation for constituents across Bwari and AMAC.
