Appointment Signals Recognition for the Entertainment Industry in Kuje Area Council
The Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, has appointed Ibrahim Danladi, popularly known as “Alanta,” as the Special Assistant (Dance).
According to the appointment letter dated 13th July, 2026, and issued from the Office of the Hon. Chairman, Kuje Area Council, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, the appointment takes immediate effect.
The letter, referenced KAC/CHM/30/VOL. 1, states that the appointment is in recognition of Alanta’s selflessness, hard work, dedication, and contributions to the development of Kuje Area Council.
The letter reads in part:
“With pleasure, I wish to inform you that you have been appointed as Special Assistant (Dance) with immediate effect.”
It further notes:
“Your appointment is in recognition of your selflessness, hard work, dedication, and contribution to the development of Kuje Area Council. It is hoped that you will live up to expectation in the discharge of your responsibility.”
Hon. Shekwolo also urged the new appointee to justify the confidence reposed in him while extending his warm regards and congratulations.


The appointment has been welcomed by many within Kuje’s entertainment community, with stakeholders describing it as a positive step towards recognizing the role of dancers and other creative professionals in community development.

Observers believe the creation of the Special Assistant (Dance) position could provide greater opportunities for local entertainers, promote youth engagement, and strengthen support for the creative industry within the Area Council.
