Popular Jahi/Kado shopping destination returns to business after devastating December 2021 fire incident

Next Cash & Carry has officially reopened its doors to the general public in Abuja, nearly five years after a devastating fire incident in December 2021 forced the popular shopping destination to shut down.

The retail outlet, located along Ahmadu Bello Way in the Jahi/Kado area of Abuja, has returned with a new look as it resumes operations and welcomes shoppers back to its premises.

The reopening marks a significant comeback for the popular shopping destination, which had remained closed since the fire incident.

A visit to the facility shows a revitalised shopping environment, with the outlet once again coming back to life and welcoming customers.

The return of Next Cash & Carry is expected to restore one of Abuja’s familiar retail destinations and provide residents with renewed access to its range of shopping services and products.

After almost five years away, Next Cash & Carry is officially back—bigger, better and ready to serve Abuja residents once again.
