Daniel to serve alongside Ali Nuhu as A4A unveils creative industry leadership ahead of 2027 presidential election
Tukura John Daniel has announced his appointment as Deputy Director, Creative and Entertainment Industry of Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A), the coalition supporting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Daniel will serve alongside renowned Nigerian actor and filmmaker Ali Nuhu, who has been appointed Director of the Creative and Entertainment Industry of the coalition.
Announcing his appointment, Daniel described the opportunity as a great honour and expressed appreciation to the leadership of A4A for the confidence reposed in him.
He also expressed his delight at the opportunity to work alongside Ali Nuhu, whom he described as one of Nigeria’s most respected figures in the creative industry.
According to Daniel, the A4A structure brings together political leaders, technocrats, professionals and stakeholders from across Northern Nigeria.
He listed among the leadership of the coalition prominent figures including Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, Senator Sani Musa 313, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, Senator Simon Bako Lalong, Senator Aliyu Wamakko, former Governor Yahaya Bello and Senator Atiku Bagudu, among others.

Daniel disclosed that his appointment followed a phone call from his long-time friend and elder brother, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Public Enlightenment.
“It all started with a phone call from my long time friend and big brother, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz,” Daniel said.
He thanked Abdulaziz for the role he played in the process and expressed gratitude to the leadership of Arewa for Asiwaju for finding him worthy of the responsibility.
Daniel’s appointment adds another prominent voice from the creative sector to the A4A structure as the coalition continues to organise its activities and engagement across Northern Nigeria ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
