Sen Aduda officially receives the APC nomination and expression of interest forms for the FCT Senate race after the forms were jointly purchased by area council chairmen and chairmen-elect in Abuja.
Former Senate Minority Leader of the 9th Assembly and former Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, CON, has officially joined the race for the FCT Senate seat ahead of the 2027 general elections, following a strong show of support from political stakeholders across the territory






In a gesture that highlighted their confidence in his leadership and political experience, the Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), the Executive Chairman of Bwari Area Council, and the Executive Chairman of Kwali Area Council, alongside several area council chairmen-elect, came together to purchase the All Progressives Congress (APC) Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms for Senator Aduda.


The forms were purchased at the APC designated centre located at the Intercontinental Hotel, Abuja, before being formally presented to the former Senate Minority Leader at his office in Wuse 2, Abuja.
Supporters and party loyalists who came out In mass described the development as a clear demonstration of unity and collective support for Aduda’s return to the Senate, citing his experience, grassroots connection, and longstanding involvement in FCT politics.
