The ongoing FCT Chiefdoms Tour continued on Saturday with royal consultations across Bwari and AMAC, as political stakeholders from the APC and PDP united in a show of cooperation, peace and shared commitment to the development of the Federal Capital Territory.
The atmosphere across Bwari and AMAC Area Councils was filled with excitement on Saturday as Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda and a delegation of FCT political stakeholders continued their Chiefdoms Tour, visiting traditional institutions across the two area councils.

The day’s engagements took the delegation to the palaces of the Etsu Bwari, Sarkin Bwari, Agaba of Jiwa, Sarkin Karshi and Sa Karuyi of Karu, where the team held consultations with traditional rulers and members of their respective communities.

The ongoing tour has become a significant platform for engagement, bringing together political stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in an atmosphere of cordiality and cooperation.
One of the major highlights of the consultations has been the growing demonstration of political unity among stakeholders who, despite belonging to different political parties, have chosen to work together in the interest of the FCT and its people.

During the visits, the delegation emphasised the importance of peace, unity and collective responsibility in advancing the political and developmental interests of the territory.
The team also used the opportunity to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda and the two House of Representatives candidates contesting under the APC platform.

Beyond the political conversations, the tour has provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with traditional institutions, recognise their importance in community leadership and encourage greater collaboration among political actors across the FCT.
The growing participation of stakeholders from both APC and PDP has further highlighted the emerging spirit of cooperation within the FCT political landscape, demonstrating that political differences need not stand in the way of a common commitment to the progress of the territory.
