Chairman Nuhu Daniel Kwali Approves Two Additional Transformers as Council Intensifies Rural Electrification Efforts
The Kwali Area Council has procured four transformers as part of ongoing efforts to improve electricity supply and expand rural electrification across communities within the Area Council.
The initiative, approved under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Nuhu Daniel Kwali, is aimed at addressing power supply challenges and improving access to electricity for residents in underserved communities.
The beneficiary communities and the capacity of the transformers procured are:
- Bako Community – 33 KVA transformer
- Satellite/Shagari Quarters – 11 KVA transformer
- Pai Community – 33 KVA transformer
- Kuroko Community – 33 KVA transformer
In addition to the four transformers already procured, the Chairman has also approved two additional transformers to further strengthen electricity supply across Kwali Area Council.

The development is expected to support households, businesses and other community activities that depend on reliable electricity, while contributing to improved living conditions and local economic development.
The administration of Hon. Nuhu Daniel Kwali has reiterated its commitment to implementing projects and initiatives that directly impact the lives of residents and address critical infrastructure needs across the Area Council.
