Late Aide Allegedly Killed During Night Attack In Niger State Community
A political aide attached to the Deputy Governor of Niger State has reportedly been stabbed to death inside his residence in a shocking incident that has raised fresh concerns over insecurity in the state.
The deceased, identified as a special aide to the deputy governor, was allegedly attacked and killed by unknown assailants at his home located directly opposite a police station.
According to reports, the tragic incident occurred during the night when the attackers reportedly gained access to the residence and stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Residents of the area were said to have discovered the victim in a pool of blood and immediately alerted security operatives. He was later confirmed dead, throwing the community into mourning.
The killing has sparked reactions among residents and political associates, many of whom expressed shock that such an attack could happen in an area situated close to a police facility.
