Destiny Sunday defeats Mohammed Adamu, who scored 14 votes, as 153 valid votes were recorded in the FCT Youth Network election conducted in Abuja.
Yamawo Destiny Sunday has emerged as the winner of the election for the office of FCT Youth Leader conducted by the FCT Youth Network (FCT-YN) on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
According to the Statement of Result of Poll issued for the election, Yamawo Destiny Sunday secured 139 votes to defeat his opponent, Mohammed Adamu, who polled 14 votes.
The result sheet showed that 218 voters were registered for the election, while 158 voters were accredited.
A total of 200 ballot papers were issued, with 40 unused ballot papers recorded. The exercise also recorded five rejected ballots, while the total number of valid votes cast stood at 153.
Yamawo Destiny Sunday’s 139 votes represented the clear majority of the valid votes cast, giving him victory over Mohammed Adamu.
